How was this our last full week of school??!! 4 day week next week, and 4 1/2 the following. I truly am enjoying every moment we have left together. We continue to learn and grow and build memories together every day. 

Just a few quick notes heading into the weeks ahead:

• Coming up:
• Tuesday, May 31 - ALL LIBRARY BOOKS DUE!!!
• Tuesday, June 7 - Field Day - 9:50-11:20. Please be sure to wear gym shoes or athletic sandals, and don’t forget sunscreen! If you are interested in volunteering, please email Mr. Oly - joly@hpseagles.net
• Friday, June 10 - Last Day of School. Students released at 1:00pm.

• Beach Towels: Thank you for sending in a beach towel with your child. We enjoyed listening to stories outside a couple of days this week. If you didn’t send one in yet, please send one in next week. Students brought home their towels today. Please check to see if it needs to be washed. If it doesn’t, just leave it in their backpack, if it does, please be sure to send a clean towel in on Tuesday. Thank you!
• Sidewalk Chalk: We could use some sidewalk chalk for an activity the last week of school. If you would like to send in any to our classroom next week, we would appreciate it. 
• A Special Thank You: 

Dear Bauer Staff and Families,

We would like to extend a heartfelt *THANK YOU!!!* to all of you for the overwhelming generosity you have shown to our family following the loss of our home due to a fire. The clothing, blankets, toys, diapers, gift cards, money, and most importantly PRAYERS have been incredible blessings to us during this time. What an amazing community we are a part of. From our hearts, THANK YOU.
